description Kajian ini bertujuan mengenal pasti kefahaman guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) terhadap pelaksanaan Kurikulum 2013 dan mengenal pasti kesesuaian pelaksanaanya dengan kerangka perubahan kurikulum Michael Fullan pada Sekolah Menengah Atas di Aceh. Konstruk perubahan dan pembangunan Kurikulum 2013 merangkumi standard kompetensi lulusan, standard kandungan, standard kaedah, standard penilaian, kerangka dasar, struktur kurikulum, sukatan pembelajaran dan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Manakala konstruk elemen kurikulum PAI merangkumi objektif pembelajaran, kandungan pembelajaran, kaedah pembelajaran, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Kaedah kajian ini adalah mixed method dengan menggunakan soal selidik dan temu bual. Kajian ini menggunakan persampelan rawak dan bertujuan, dimana seramai 205 guru PAI sebagai sampel kuantitatif dipilih secara rawak dan 12 guru PAI sebagai sampel kualitatif dipilih secara bertujuan. Keputusan ujian-t berasaskan jantina menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan kefahaman guru PAI terhadap Kurikulum 2013 iaitu t(203)=0.07, p>0.05. Ujian-t berasaskan lokasi tempat kerja menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan yang signifikan kefahaman guru PAI terhadap Kurikulum 2013 iaitu t(203)=5.27, p0.05]. Hasil analisis kualitatif mengikut lokasi tempat kerja menunjukkan terdapat perbezaan kefahaman guru PAI terhadap tema-tema tentang perubahan dan pembangunan Kurikulum 2013. Manakala dapatan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif menunjukkan terdapat persamaan dan perbezaan kerangka perubahan kurikulum Michael Fullan dengan pelaksanaan Kurikulum 2013 di Aceh. Kesimpulan kajian menunjukkan perlu penambahbaikan kefahaman guru PAI luar bandar dalam pelaksanaan Kurikulum 2013. Implikasi menunjukan bahawa untuk meningkatkan kefahaman guru PAI di Aceh dapat mengikuti kerangka perubahan kurikulum Michael Fullan.
