Data dianalisis menggunakan Ujian-t, Korelasi Pearsondan Regrasi Berganda. Hasil Ujian- t menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbezaan bagi efikasi kendirikaunseling, strategi daya tindak dan identiti profesional berdasarkan jantina. AnalisisKorelasi Pearson pula menunjukkan efikasi kendiri kaunseling mempunyai hubungan yang signifikandengan identiti professional dalam kalangan kaunselor di sekolah. Walau bagaimanapun,didapati strategi daya tindak tidak mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan identiti professional dalam kalangan kaunselor di sekolah. Analisis juga telah menunjukkanbahawa efikasi kendiri kaunseling mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan strategi daya tindakdalam kalangan kaunselor di sekolah. Analisis regrasi berganda pula menunjukkan peramalutama dan tertinggi bagi identiti profesional kaunselor ialah efikasi kendiri kaunseling(=0.467) dan sumbangannya sebanyak 21.8%. Kesimpulannya, kaunselor yang mempunyai efikasikendiri kaunseling yang tinggi akan mempengaruhiidentiti profesional kaunselor manakala strategi daya tindak pula tidak mempengaruhi identitiprofesional kaunselor. Implikasi kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa pentingnya efikasi kendiri kaunseling dalam kalangan kaunselor dipertingkatkan dan ianya boleh dilaksanakanmelalui Latihan Dalam Perkhidmatan (LDP) yang boleh dianjurkan oleh pihak KementerianPendidikan Malaysia (KPM) secara berterusan. Ianya boleh dilaksanakan dalam bentuk kursus,bengkel dan seminar yang berfokuskan kepada kemahiran dalam kaunseling agar tugas-tugas didalam perkhidmatan bimbingan dan kaunseling khususnya dapat dilaksanakan dengan lebihberkesan.
