Tiga jenis instrumen kajian digunakan iaitu Inventory of Parent and</p><p>Peer Attachment (IPPA), Instrument Kuppuswamy Scale of Family Socioeconomic</p><p>Status (1976) dan Instrument Attitudes Toward Gangs (ATG). Data yang diperolehi</p><p>dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensi dengan menggunakan perisian SPSS. Dapatan</p><p>kajian menunjukkan bahawa min berada pada tahap tinggi bagi keempat-empat faktor</p><p>tahap sosioekonomi keluarga; persekitaran sosial tempat tinggal, pendapatan seisi</p><p>keluarga, sikap pendidikan ibu bapa dan institusi kekeluargaan. Analisis selanjutnya</p><p>menunjukkan hubungan positif yang kuat dan signifikan bagi kedua-dua taraf</p><p>sosioekonomi keluarga dan pengaruh rakan sebaya kepada penglibatan murid India</p><p>dalam gengsterisme. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa taraf sosioekonomi keluarga dan</p><p>pengaruh rakan sebaya merupakan faktor penglibatan murid India di sekolah menengah</p><p>dalam gengsterisme. Secara ringkasnya, kajian ini dapat memberi input terhadap guru,</p><p>ibu bapa, pemimpin masyarakat, Kementerian Pendidikan, Polis Diraja Malaysia,</p><p>Yayasan Pencegahan Jenayah Malaysia dan Institut Kajian Etnik bagi meningkatkan</p><p>keberkesanan pembasmian gejala gengsterisme dalam kalangan murid sekolah.</p> |
