Kajian ini melibatkan lima elemen pengaruh</p><p>status sosioekonomi ibu bapa sebagai pemboleh ubah tak bersandar dan hanya</p><p>melibatkan satu pemboleh ubah bersandar iaitu pencapaian akademik pelajar. Analisis</p><p>deskriptif digunakan untuk menjelaskan latar belakang demografi sampel manakala</p><p>analisis infrerensi regresi berganda digunakan untuk menunjukkan kekuatan pengaruh</p><p>status sosioekonomi ibu bapa terhadap pencapaian akademik pelajar sekolah</p><p>menengah luar bandar di daerah Papar. Data yang diperolehi dianalisis menggunakan</p><p>Program Perisian Statistical Pakage for Social Science versi 23. Hasil analisis data</p><p>deskriptif menunjukkan tahap pencapaian akademik pelajar sekolah menengah</p><p>Tingkatan 4 luar bandar daerah Papar adalah pada tahap yang sederhana. Dapatan</p><p>analisis regresi berganda pula menunjukkan hanya terdapat dua daripada lima elemen</p><p>pengaruh status sosioekonomi ibu bapa yang signifikan terhadap pencapaian</p><p>akademik pelajar iaitu pengaruh faktor pendapatan ibu bapa dan jarak ke sekolah.</p><p>Faktor pendidikan ibu bapa, pekerjaan ibu bapa serta persekitaran rumah tidak</p><p>menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Kesimpulan kajian ini menunjukkan</p><p>pendapatan ibu bapa dan jarak ke sekolah mempengaruhi pencapaian akademik</p><p>pelajar luar bandar di daerah Papar. Sumbangan dapatan kajian ini diharapkan dapat</p><p>membantu pihak berkepentingan mengambil tindakan sewajarnya bagi membantu</p><p>pencapaian akademik pelajar di luar bandar khasnya di daerah Papar. Kajian yang</p><p>lebih komprehensi dengan melibatkan faktor selain sosioekonomi dicadangkan untuk</p><p>memperkembangkan lagi kajian pada masa depan.</p> |
