| الملخص: | This study aims to resolve the confusion and misunderstanding caused by Feminism and its supporters through analyzing and criticizing it within the jurisprudence and principles of Islamic Sharī'ah in general as well as equality between men and women in detail. The chapters in the study have taken into account the basis of Feminism, the factors that contribute to its emergence and the dangers arising from this thought, for example, Sisters in Islam in Malaysia. The method used in this study is by way of inductive and critical analyses. The study comprises of four chapters. The first chapter is an introduction of the study while the second chapter explains in detail Islam's stand and view on the issue of equality between men and women. Chapter Three proceeds to define Feminism and explores the stages of the movement and its development. The last chapter examines the issues related to equality between men and women by comparing the views of Islamic jurists with the views of Sisters in Islam. The most important conclusions and results which have been derived and accomplished by the researcher are the obvious difference between the two principles: Justice and Equality; the solving of the misunderstanding surrounding Islam's treatment of women; and the need to raise women's status in society, economy and in all areas of life. |
