| الملخص: | This study examines the virtues of utilizing the Qur' anic stories, particularly Surah Yusuf, for Da'wah purposes. Surah Yusuf is generally considered as an example of conducting Islamic Da'wah fruitfully. The study applies an analytical and inductive method in dealing with the topic. It analyzes the personality and the character of prophet Yusuf (A.S.) and his experience to deduce the model for a successful Da'wah program. In so doing, the study details the methodologies, means, and tactics used by Yusuf (A.S.) which a da'iyh needs, to succeed in his activities for the sake of Allah (S. W. T). The study found that the most important characteristics of the successful da'iyh, as manifested through the personality of prophet Yusuf(A.S), are of two categories: Theoretical and Practical. The theoretical characteristics include: Strong faith in Allah, deep knowledge of the mission, optimism, sincerity, patience and piety. The practical characteristics include: Trustworthiness, honesty, humility and forgiveness. A da'iyh should try to emulate these characteristics to assure the success of his Da'wah. |
