总结:Currently most of the synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems operate with two separate antennas. The weight, size and space for two antennas greatly increase the cost of the SAR mission. However, single antenna is typically limited to single-frequency, single-polarisation applications. In this work, dual-band antenna topologies of various kinds have been reviewed. L-and C-band antennas with single-polarisation as well as dual-polarisation have been investigated. Techniques on suppressing cross-polarisation has been reviewed and analysed for these antenna topologies. These antennas are suitable for synthetic aperture radar on various platforms such as satellite, airborne as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.
