總結:Numerous scholars have looked into how employee’s mental health is affected by work-related stress. However, there has been little or no focus on the effect of key workplace factors such as working hours and work load on employee's mental health. The current study examines the effect of occupational stress on mental health among employees of logistic companies in Klang Valley area. The study employed a quantitative methodology. Data was collected through a survey questionnaire. Cluster random sampling was used and a total of 384 questionnaires with complete answers were returned. Logistic employees in Klang Valley area are the targeted population. The analysis techniques employed in the study included descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha estimates for reliability, factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The multiple regression analysis confirmed that both the independent variables- working hour and workload positively influence employee’s mental health. The beta coefficients indicate the strength and direction of these relationships, with working hour (β = .275) and workload (β = .664) all being significant at the p< .00The findings of the study show that there is a positive relationship between occupational stress which are working hour and workload with mental health of employees. The findings also have indicated that there is a direct effect of working hour and workload on mental health.
